This last weekend we took the kids to have breakfast with Santa. I prepped both kiddos before we were to met with Big Guy, so Emmy went ready to ask for a “Diego car” and Christopher wanted to ask Santa to bring him two Ninja Turtles. So off to breakfast we went, where we had all six grandparents waiting.
“And I want sausage and bacon and eggs and a donut…”
Christopher and his candy cane balloon hat…
Chris also had the balloon lady make Emmy a Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer hat.
Emmy got her hands on a chocolate donut.
“Here Grandma Margie, borrow my Rudolph hat!”
My sweet baby girl!
Waiting in line for Santa’s arrival.
Chris, staring down a kid who he thought cut us in the Santa line.
Telling Santa about the Ninja Turtles he has on his wish list.
“Yeah, yeah- Donatello!”
She gathered enough courage to wave and say “Diego car please.” But she said it while tightly clutching my arm.
Giving Daddy a post Santa kiss!
Hanging with the grandparents!
“Bye Bye! I had fun!”
Our hope for next Christmas is that Emmy has the courage to sit on Santa’s lap, but our 2012 visit with Santa was perfect!
