We took the kiddos to a Cleveland Indians game this weekend, which was so fun (well, as fun as having a 19 month old wiggler with us).
Chris had a blast, he got into his role as a superfan. He wore a hat, waved his Tribe towel, ate blue cotton candy, and cheered.
Emmy was, well, Emmy. She wiggled, snuggled, cried when the crowd cheered, talked to everyone around us, danced and ignored the game in every way.
But for someone who didn’t seem to notice the game, she sure had a lot to say about it on the drive home. “Baseball, dance.” (“Baseball” sounds like “Beeball” but we got it). “Beeball, Papa, cheer?” “Beeball, Granma, clap?” “Beeball, Chris, dance?”
We may have left in the 7th inning, but it was still a lot of fun!
