SO, Christopher was sick with some sort of weird flu.  He woke up in the middle of the night with a 102.5 fever.  After a while, he ended up throwing up (Side note:  We were, of course, staying at a friends house).

Christopher then passed the tummy bug to me (yay!) and watched in horror as I, too, got sick.

The whole feeling sick thing seems to have scarred him because several times a day he’ll say “I need to throw up!”  He then runs to the restroom, leans over the potty and makes noises.  Then he looks at me and says “Ok, I feel all better now.”  He even did that during his karate class and freaked out his teacher.  And then, with a casual wave of the hand, I had to explain that he isn’t crazy (“No, he’s not puking, he’s just pretending…  Oh that isn’t a normal things that all kids do?  Hmm…”).

Anyone else have a kiddo with an odd, and sometimes embarrassing, habit?

I have a couple of children who’ve periodically exhibited odd behavior. I won’t mention the details, or their names, to spare them from embarrassment.
